What if you could wave a magic wand and only work with wonderful, amazing clients, who truly value your product or service? But, right now, your current clients are far from that? Let’s dive in to how you might find your Ideal Customer Avatar (ICA)!

I first learned about customer avatar’s at Christy Wright’s Business Boutique Academy in Nashville, where Amy Porterfield was teaching a class on list building. She taught us to get a clear visual of what our ICA looked like, where she/he shopped, what blogs they read, and where they hung out looking to solve their needs. Mine is mostly Amazon & Facebook:)
So, here are 3 questions I ask myself now, when I’m creating a course, like my upcoming Marketing & Branding intro course. (If you’d like to get on the waiting list, sign up for it here!)
How to find your ICA in 3 questions:
- Imagine your best friend is your perfect client, how would you talk to her? And write your copy like you are writing to her/him.
- Get super clear on your offer promise, what problem do you solve for them & how long will it take to deliver?
- How are you going to solve what they need for them?
These are the 3 things that are always on the top of my mind whenever I’m creating, writing or coaching my clients: speak like a human, what can I help them with, how can I make it easier and get them there faster?
I hope this helps you keep it simple and find new, fabulous, Ideal Customers with whatever you are creating.
