Productivity Check In

A Conversation with My Business Coach

Productivity Snapshot

In the fast-paced world of business, productivity is a constant topic of conversation. But what does it really mean to be productive? And how can I ensure that I’m working consistently towards my goals?

As an entrepreneur, I’m always looking for ways to improve my productivity and boost my business’s success. Recently, I had a conversation with my business coach to dive into this topic, I hope you find these tips useful!

My Productivity Snapshot

During our discussion, I shared that my productivity has been somewhat inconsistent, with periods of high output followed by dips. This is a common experience, and I’ve come to realize that productivity is not a linear journey.

I also identified a few major projects that are currently taking up my time and energy. While these projects are important, I’m concerned that some of them are moving too slowly. We explored potential reasons for this, such as unclear goals, lack of communication, or resource constraints.

The Action Indicator Assessment: A Tool for Gauging Commitment

To further assess my productivity and commitment to achieving my goals, my business coach introduced me to the Action Indicator Assessment. This tool helps me evaluate my likelihood of success in undertaking a major project or goal.

The assessment asks me to consider various factors, such as my level of motivation, confidence, and support system. By understanding my strengths and weaknesses in these areas, I can develop strategies to increase my chances of success.

Moving Forward

My conversation with my business coach provided a valuable opportunity to check in on my productivity and identify areas for improvement.

Here are my key takeaways:

  • Productivity is an ongoing journey. There will be ups and downs, but it’s important to stay committed to my goals and make adjustments as needed.
  • Prioritize my most important projects and use my Productivity Planner more purposefully.  I’ll focus on the tasks that will have the greatest impact.
  • Identify and eliminate distractions. Distractions can significantly hinder productivity. I plan to attend at least 4 Focus Work Sessions this week.
  • Seek support when needed. I, or my business coach for help when I need it.

Remember, productivity is not about working harder, but working smarter. By implementing these strategies, I can optimize my time, energy, and resources to achieve my goals and reach my full potential as an entrepreneur.
